I've never read 'Emma' and I have no intention to ever read it. I understand its about a girl named Emma though.

My Penguin

As part of my Christmas box, Mama B got me a set of "My Penguin" books after I saw them over on Ben Templesmith's blog where he'd made a cover for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Basically the books come with a blank cover for you to make yourself. Hopefully I'll be able to do a few of these over the holidays, depending on how fast I get my reading done!

Filling an hour in

I didn't really know what to do with my afternoon so I mucked about on Photoshop for an hour. The worrying thing is I can actually use Photoshop relatively well, I just obviously love pretending I'm rubbish... I had fun though. Mince Pies and Mulled Wine tonight!

Finally finished!

I'm not entirely pleased with all the work I've made so far this year but I've explored a lot of different areas I've not tried before. Its been fun. Anyway, there are the final covers for "I want this night", images inspired by The Decemberists.

Anyone I'm meant to be sending stuff to it'll be in the post in the next few days since I have lots of time now!

I Want This Night

I'm yet to finish the covers on these (which I will hopefully be getting done this afternoon or tomorrow) but here you have my almost finished fanzine. I'm pretty pleased with the results since I've never done anything like this before. I was more happy with some of the images compared to others and there was a few aesthetic imperfections but I'm not too worried about them.

I finally got around to making a mock-up of my fanzine today. How exciting I know. Dead excited to get it printed properly on Tuesday. Enjoy more of a sneak peek above. I spoil you guys.

Digital Collage

A set of digital collages from a photoshop workshop we've been having this week. Its actually the first piece of work I've been happy with in a while. A very Dave McKean feel but thats never a bad thing.

Save Point

More journal work. I suck at painting but I really enjoy doing it. The journal is being made by gamers who are artists themselves so I figured some Final Fantasy fan-art wouldn't go amiss.

Gotham

Whenever I can't focus I always seem to end up drawing Batman characters. Its a bad habbit. This was done for some personal work in an international art journal that I currently have in my possession and focusses on Robin feeling very small in a very big city. I'm finding it really easy to feel useless and overwhelmed.
